Abstract
Objectives: This workshop aims to help editorial staff to develop their editing skills beyond correcting typos and applying the technical details given in the Cochrane Style Guide. The workshop follows on from Technical editing part I, a closed session scheduled to take place during the Review Group Co-ordinators' meeting.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

1. Apply the learning from Technical editing part I to the content of their own reviews
2. Think more critically about the composition and content of systematic reviews
3. Provide advice to authors on the content, as opposed to the format, of their reviews

Description: This workshop will be more 'hands on' than the first. Most of the session will be given over to working on the content of individual reviews in small groups with a discussion at the end. Participants are encouraged to bring a section of a review they are currently working on.
This workshop includes:

1. Practical tips for time-efficient editing
2. Time to work on individual reviews with a focus on reading critically, asking questions, debating, and rewriting where necessary
3. Discussion

Target audience: Review Group Co-ordinators who attended Technical Editing Part I.

Style: Training workshop
