Abstract: The workshop will provide basic and intermediate level users with an understanding of the most useful techniques for navigating The Cochrane Library online via www.thecochranelibrary.com. It will demonstrate the most useful tools on the website as well as the most effective ways of finding information.
This workshop will also present improved search results, enhanced search setting and alert options and provide an overview of enhancements displayed within Cochrane Reviews following implementation of Revman 5.
At the end of the workshop, users will have a better understanding of the techniques available for navigating The Cochrane Library. The session will include an online demo' and participants will be able to complete a series of exercises and practice during the workshop.
