Abstract
Objectives:
Systematic reviews are critical to healthcare policy, but remain a labor-intensive activity. Funded by the US Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, Tufts Evidence-based Practice Center has developed the Systematic Review Data Repository (SRDR), a collaborative, web-based tool to extract and archive data from primary studies used in systematic reviews. This is an open-access resource for researchers and consumers of healthcare evidence worldwide. Attendees will learn about: • SRDR’s goals and structure; • key tasks including initiating a systematic review project, creating an extraction form template and entering study data; • SRDR’s quality assurance process; and • retrieving archived study data.

Key concepts will be illustrated using recent projects. 1. Introduction to SRDR (e.g. goals, layout, support). 2. Demonstration of key tasks (e..g initiating a project, creating an extraction form template, entering study data). 3. Hands-on practice using a step-by-step example project. 4. Demonstration of further features (e.g. search, exporting data, table creator, double data extraction). Please note that participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops or iPads to the workshop, and wifi internet access will be available. A limited number of iPads will be available for use, and others may watch along with the demonstration.
