Abstract
Objectives:
1. Carry out hands-on exercises testing usability on designated sections of one or more Cochrane websites.
2. Gather information from participants on their experience of using aspects of Cochrane websites, and on desired improvements.
3. Provide information on proposals to improve usability of Cochrane websites.

Description:
Cochrane websites aim to provide comprehensive information and resources to a variety of user groups. In designing, maintaining, and upgrading new and existing features, Cochrane seeks to make navigation of Cochrane web sites as clear and intuitive as possible. Usability can be improved by gathering information from real-world website users, and the Cochrane Colloquium provides an excellent opportunity to bring together a variety of users from different user groups to share information and feedback.

This workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to test out, via one or more hands-on exercises, the usability of a section of one or more Cochrane websites. This exercise will be supplemented by discussion between participants and facilitators, and among the group as a whole, about current user experience, as well as methods and initiatives to improve usability.

Note: This workshop will not be held in a computer lab. Participants are asked to bring their own laptops or other devices to enable hands-on participation.
