Abstract
Objectives:
To present a framework on how to prioritize questions for systematic reviews of health policy and systems research (HPSR). At the end of the workshop, we expect participants to have gained a better conceptual and practical understanding about the researcher-stakeholder relationship in priority setting.

Description:
The workshop will include the following:
1. Presentation describing existing approaches to prioritizing questions for systematic reviews of HPSR (10 min).
2. Presentation and discussion of the approach to priority setting adopted by our Centre for Systematic Reviews in HPSR, funded by the World Health Organization Alliance. We will discuss how the approach was designed, who was involved, and how its results influenced the selection of the review questions. We will also draw on the experiences of three other centers supported by the Alliance for HPSR (30 min).
3. Hands-on exercise using a tool under development for selecting and prioritizing review questions (30 min).
4. We will finish the workshop with a discussion of the strengths and limitations of different approaches to priority setting (20 min).
