Objectives:
The session will provide practical experience for editors and authors to utilize the minimum standards for Plain language summaries (PLS). Participants will discuss how to implement the standards and examine best practice suggestions for future PLS.

The creation of standards for PLS has improved their quality, but guidelines for authors and editors are still insufficient. This workshop provides participants a chance to assess published PLS where the standards have been applied.
