Abstract
Objectives:
- to demonstrate the Covidence systematic review application;
- to give attendees hands-on experience of Covidence;
- to allow attendees to give feedback on Covidence.
Description:
Covidence is a web-based platform for producing and updating Cochrane and other systematic reviews, which reduces the time to complete key review tasks by up to one third. This workshop will provide attendees with an opportunity to become familiar with Covidence, including citation screening, full text review, risk of bias, data extraction and export to RevMan.
The authors will give a short presentation followed by a live demonstration of the full functionality of Covidence, and then we will allow attendees to get some hands-on experience of the application with support from facilitators who will be on hand to answer questions. The workshop will close with a brief discussion about Covidence and provide an opportunity for the attendees to give some feedback for future development.
