Abstract
Objectives: To become familiar with Covidence, Cochrane’s new online tool for review production.
Description: Covidence is Cochrane’s new online systematic review production platform, improving the efficiency and experience of producing systematic reviews. Covidence was selected by Cochrane to become the standard platform for Cochrane Reviews and is now available for authors to start using.
Covidence supports import and deduplication of citations, title and abstract and full text screening, risk of bias assessment and data extraction, and export of data directly into the relevant review in RevMan. Covidence is provided as a non-profit service to the systematic review community by the team that created the original ReGroup and EROS platforms.
The workshop will be a hands-on opportunity to get to know Covidence. We will start with an overview presentation of the key features of Covidence. We will then work through review production in Covidence with participants encouraged to try out each step using a demonstration review. The workshop will conclude with substantial time for questions and discussion and for free exploration of Covidence features.
Participants should bring a laptop or arrange to share in order to get a hands-on experience of using Covidence.
This workshop will be offered four times during the Colloquium, once each day - check the special session each day for repeat sessions. Please sign up once only for the session of your choice.
