Abstract
People are Cochrane’s greatest asset. However, pathways for contributors are not always well defined, resulting in less than ideal experiences for both contributors and those supporting them. Two components of Project Transform, Getting Involved and Task Exchange, create new pathways for people to become involved with Cochrane and make meaningful contributions to producing evidence.

With ever increasing amounts of data to process, we need new ways to keep up and to provide opportunities for people to become involved. The Embase project has shown that we can attract people to perform much-needed tasks efficiently with no compromise on quality. Getting Involved will develop & offer a range of tasks as a way to get involved with Cochrane.

Task Exchange builds on Cochrane’s unique global contributor network. The Task Exchange platform enables links between people in Cochrane who need review tasks done, and people who have the skills and time to do them.

Description: The session will introduce Getting Involved and Task Exchange, describe current challenges to getting involved at both contributor and review group level, and present the aims and progress of each component. Participants will provide feedback on Getting Involved and Task Exchange by:

Getting Involved
1. Trialing tasks
2. Exploring current and potential incentives and reward structures
3. Trialing training modules

Task Exchange
1. Posting and viewing tasks
2. Creating and viewing profiles
