Abstract
Objectives: To learn about the Updating Classification System (UCS) for Cochrane Reviews, and share experiences of using the system.

Description: The purpose of the UCS is to guide readers about whether a Cochrane Review is up to date, likely to be updated in future, or does not need to be updated at the current time. The system may also help editorial teams with prioritisation decisions for individual Cochrane Reviews. The system follows a decision framework that asks about the usage and currency of the review question, the availability of new studies or information, and how new information would impact on the review findings or credibility. During the workshop, participants will learn to use the UCS and apply a status to a review, and share experiences of using the UCS.
