Abstract
Objectives: This workshop will introduce participants to methods for conducting overviews of reviews (overviews). Workshop content will be based on the Cochrane Handbook's updated guidance for overviews and will cover the following topics:

1. Introduction to the concept, definition, and utility of overviews of reviews
2. Points to consider when choosing whether to do an overview or an intervention review
3. Guidance on the steps for conducting an overview
4. Methodological challenges and potential limitations of overviews.

Description: Cochrane overviews integrate information from multiple systematic reviews to provide a single synthesis of relevant evidence for decision-making (e.g., overviews commonly examine multiple interventions for a single health condition). A mix of interactive presentations and small group activities will be used to help participants gain an understanding of what overviews are; what to consider when deciding on whether to conduct an overview; and the general methods for conducting an overview. Participants will hear about revisions to the Cochrane Handbook's chapter on overviews, including new guidance and where gaps in guidance and uncertainties remain. There will be time to ask questions about methods for conducting overviews, and we will encourage participants who are working on or have completed overviews to share their experiences.
