Abstract
Objectives: To highlight the key features of the Cochrane Library website, sharing hints and tips to enable beginners and intermediate users to train colleagues in how to use the website effectively.

Description: The current structure of the well-received Cochrane Library training ‘Cochrane Library – An introduction’ provided by Wiley, will form the basis of the workshop. The training sessions are conducted on a monthly basis and were attended by 245 people in 2015.

The training includes a background to the Cochrane organisation and a detailed look at the databases included in the Cochrane Library. Resources found through the Homepage, how to browse the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, and how to search the Cochrane Library are also included in the training.

The interactive workshop will allow participants to take part in activities to identify which elements of the Cochrane Library website are seen as most useful to newcomers. Participants will learn how to structure a one-hour training session that will give the person or people receiving the training a firm grasp of the main features of the Cochrane Library, and how to browse and search the website to find Cochrane content quickly and effectively.
