Abstract
Background: As the most comprehensive international database, Health Systems Evidence (HSE) summarises the high-quality health system researches systematically, in order to help health policy-makers, researchers and stakeholders use the best evidence.

Objectives: To introduce the development of Chinese edition of HSE and its dissemination and impact in China, so as to promote Chinese health policy makers and stakeholders to implement evidence-informed policymaking and strength the health system.

Methods: Since 2010, we founded a group to translate and update the database using grading translation system combined with expert consultation and focus group discussion. Also, we used WeChat (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WeChat, a cross-platform that has over a billion created accounts and 864 million active users in 2016 in China), to promote HSE by pushing Chinese translation regularly and evaluate the communication effects further.

Results: From the agreement with McMaster Health Forum on the development of Chinese edition of HSE, we have translated the HSE webpage and updated it for a new version. Until now, we have translated the titles up to over 114 000 words. The communication effect of pushing HSE translation by WeChat will be presented at the Summit.

Conclusions: WeChat might be an effective communication tool for Health Systems Evidence, which is expected to strength the health system in China and help health system reform.
