Abstract
Background: systematic reviews of diagnostic test accuracy (DTA) studies are more complex than those of intervention studies. The Cochrane Screening and Diagnostic Tests Methods Group (SDTMG), along with the Cochrane DTA Editorial team, provide expert guidance to review authors in order to ensure the quality of the planning, conduct, and reporting of DTA protocols and reviews published in the Cochrane Library. To aid review authors, several resources and tools have been developed and are freely available on the SDTMG website.

Objectives: to introduce and explain in Spanish current guidelines and existing resources for developing Cochrane DTA Reviews.

Description: the workshop will provide an overview of issues involved in the development of Cochrane DTA Reviews, with an emphasis on the Cochrane editorial process. Participants will gain an understanding of: 1) similarities and differences between Cochrane DTA and intervention reviews; 2) requirements for review author teams; 3) content of a Cochrane DTA Protocol/Review; d) methods for developing a DTA Peview; e) available training and online resources; and f) reporting guidelines (e.g. PRISMA-DTA and plain language summary (PLS)-DTA). Facilitators of this workshop are Cochrane DTA editors or methodologists with fluency in the Spanish language.
