Objectives:
This session is dedicated to exploring and enhancing the role of patient and public involvement (PPI) in the development of health guidelines and policies. It aims to:
*Illustrate the importance and impact of PPI in creating more responsive, patient-centered health policies and guidelines.
Share innovative practices and methodologies for effective PPI from various global contexts, showcasing successful integration into the policy development process.
*Provide a platform for critical debate on the challenges and barriers to effective PPI, including representation, equity, and methodological concerns.
*Develop actionable strategies for participants to engage patients and the public in the guideline and policy development processes within their own institutions or contexts.

This interactive session will consist of expert-led presentations, facilitated discussions, and breakout groups, structured to encourage active participation and exchange of ideas among all attendees.
