【Abstract】Objective To search, summarize and evaluate the best evidence of electrical stimulation in patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) , which could further provide reliable basis for clinical practice. Methods All evidence on electrical stimulation in patients with PAD were retrieved from BMJ Best Practice,UpToDate, PubMed,OVID,Cochrane Library,Embase, Med-live website, VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals, the Chao-Xing journal database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wan-Fang database, and other Chinese and foreign technological journal databases. Evidence was obtained from guidelines, clinical decision-making, evidence summaries and systematic evaluation. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of databases until June 1, 2023. Results A total of 6 articles were included in the present analysis, including 1 clinical decision-making, 1 guideline and 4 systematic reviews . A total of 21 pieces of best evidence were extracted from 6 aspects, including equipment selection, suitable population, implementation strategy, mechanism, implementation effect and outcome index. Conclusion The medical staff can make the individualized electric program to improve the walking ability and improve the life of PAD patients according to the actual clinical situation when transforming the evidence.
