Abstract
Objectives: To shed light on the link between implementation planning within systematic reviews, rapid reviews, and clinical practice guidelines and theory-informed implementation strategies targeted to population and context, and to further develop strategies for fidelity of implementation planning.

Description: Guidelines and rapid and systematic reviews represent a significant contribution to knowledge, with groups including JBI, G-I-N, Cochrane, Campbell, and rapid review groups invested in developing critical summaries of effect measures and recommendations.
Speakers in this session will illustrate the relationship between synthesis methods and early implementation planning using clinical case studies, theories, models, and frameworks, presenting pathways for implementation during synthesis planning.

Activities/Interaction Plan:
1.10-min introduction by facilitators; 10 mins X 3 groups (Adelaide University, Guidelines International Network, Carol Davila University) presentation and discussion of stakeholder engagement when planning topic prioritization aligning implementation science theories, models, and frameworks with preplanning to inform local organizational needs and priorities. Per speaker reflection and small group work:
1.110 mins on implementation theories models and frameworks, and types of synthesis within synthesis question formulation.
1.210 mins on theory-informed frameworks to systematically identify and craft engagement strategies with stakeholders.
2.30-min facilitated discussion and consensus building on strategies for theory-informed behavior change and organizational uptake of best practice for implementation.
