Fifthly, Multiple disseminating channels were produced. The full text of CJEBM was on Internet with the following address: http://periodicals.net.cn/. The CD-ROM version was also made. Furthermore the articles of CONSUMER FORUM were off printed with the coversheet of CJEBM to spread around out-patient-department and the office of doctors in hospitals. Results: Some success has been gained by using the methods above. Conclusion: Experience evidence suggests that these methods above may be effective for improving the readability, reliability and accessibility of medical journals.
