Abstract
Background:
This workshop is intended for newcomers to RevMan Web. RevMan (Review Manager) is the software used to prepare and maintain Cochrane Reviews, and is also available to review authors outside Cochrane. RevMan Web is the first major redesign of this software since 2008 and is planned to be available for all Cochrane authors in 2018.

Objectives:
- Users will learn first-hand how to use RevMan Web to write an intervention review.
- Participants will learn what’s new in RevMan Web compared to RevMan 5.
- Users will understand how RevMan Web fits with other tools such as Covidence, EPPI-Reviewer and GRADEpro as part of Cochrane’s review ecosystem.
- Users will learn about the future of RevMan Web through its development roadmap and how they can affect it.

Description:
This workshop offers the opportunity to learn first-hand how to use the software to prepare an intervention review. Users will be guided through hands-on exercises to demonstrate the systematic review writing process using RevMan Web, including interactions with complementary tools. We will cover the future development roadmap of RevMan Web and how both versions of RevMan will operate within the Cochrane Review ecosystem and complement each other for the foreseeable future.

Note: participants should bring their own laptop (preferably) or tablet to the hands-on session, or will be able to share with other participants.
